Alex Franco

Alex Franco began his journey into photography as a teen in his hometown of Barcelona. A self-taught photographer, Franco moved to London in his early twenties and assisted prominent figures in the fashion industry while working with several magazine publications, fashion brands and creatives. Although his background is deeply rooted in fashion, Franco is also known for his evocative documentation of his travels and has established projects in Mongolia and Ethiopia. These works have earned him recognition for his distinct and authentic  photographic aesthetic.

Franco’s unique approach to photography is characterized by natural imagery that is rich in character, style, and storytelling. His work often features the creative use of shadows, geometric shapes, and the abstraction of bodies, blending the conventions of both portraiture and documentary photography. Beyond the artistic aspect, Franco sees photography as a powerful medium for raising awareness and sparking dialogue for social change.
