Jonathan Emma is an Italian film director. It was born in the mid 80’s in a small province on the Ligurian sea. At the age of 16, he subscribed to L’Uomo Vogue and discovered photographers such as Helmut Newton, Steven Meisel. Study photography in Florence where the world of the night lives, projecting videos in the most important of the Italian clubbing scene. After completing his studies he moved to Milan and began to assist various photographers on set, including the great Peter Lindbergh, Juergen Teller, Ellen Von Unwerth. The desire to express oneself is great and begins to collaborate with Italian magazines and fashion houses and beyond. A photographic and clean aesthetic, (almost) obsessed with body details. Connection and empathy with the subject are essential for him, in which the result is the result of the director’s vision combined with the uniqueness of the subject.
